This project started in my final year of fellowship in pulmonary & critical care medicine. Ultimately, I owe Dr. Ruoss at Stanford for allowing this project to take shape with additional encouragement from Drs. Gropper at UCSF and Gohil at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center.
Since 2014 I have written for pulmccm.org, including the 'ICU Physiology in 1000 Words' series. These musings form portions of the learning modules below. My free textbook is available for download via pulmccm.org.
There are 8 chapters of recorded lectures presented here, which supplement the first 8 chapters of my book. Everything is totally free and open access.
From 2015-2017, I worked towards a Master's degree in medical education at the Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm. Part of my thesis was creating modules to guide learners through these educational materials.
